In 2023:
“I was in Napier Barracks for two months, when first I went there it was weird, but when I met Napier Friends they really helped me a lot. They are amazing, they helped me and motivated me to volunteer in a charity shop which was a great experience for me. All members are so friendly, they have English classes or you can just go there and talk to them, they listen to you, they do everything for you they could. I was not feeling lonely when they were in the camp.”
“It’s very good to spend times in classes to speak to learn, To find kindly people like you Because without you the camp is very boring. It’s very useful to learn some new words than still without any jobs just eating and sleeping like animals. Maybe without these classes and speaking to friendly people or do activities must of them will enter in psychological issues. And you come to do some relief in our live in the camp so really I thank all of you..”
