Become Volunteer
Volunteers are very important to our organisation – without them we literally wouldn’t exist. Around 40 volunteers help to deliver our services every week. Volunteers get involved for a variety of reasons. Some want to make a positive difference to the lives of people, others want to develop new skills and some simply want to meet new people and have fun. Every person who volunteers for us does have one thing in common, they’re absolutely vital to our work.

Send us an email or leave a message if you would like us to send you more information about volunteering with us.
How can you get involved?
We are always looking for new volunteers, to help in all our services – at cooking sessions on Monday and Tuesdays, supporting groups to go volunteering in the local area and to participate in sports activities throughout the week, and at our onsite sessions Monday-Friday.
When you get in touch with us we will send you more information and an application form. We ask all potential volunteers for a reference and to see a DBS Check dated within the last 3 years. We can support you to apply for a DBS Check if you don’t already have one.
We hold regular Volunteer Induction Training Sessions, and then send you a Volunteer Agreement to read and sign. Once you have completed all these steps we will arrange a time for your first volunteering session.
